The Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention Council is a not-for-profit community agency that has served children, youth, and families throughout Saratoga County for 25 years. We provide education, information and referral services in order to strengthen individuals, families, schools and communities and combat, reduce and overcome the damaging effects of substance abuse, violence, and other destructive behaviors.
We offer prevention education on substance abuse and gambling, along with parenting resources for families of teens and tweens.
Community programs we offer include Problem Gambling Prevention, Cool Out of School summer program, Risk and Responsibility class for teens, Victim Impact Panels, Youth Court, and All Stars Camp.
The agency also offers youth and family clinical services and family programs such as Clean & Sober Parenting, Head Start Family Assistance Program, Strengthening Families Program, and Parenting Wisely.
