Former Featured Salsa Dancers for ABC Television Program Offer ‘Salsa in a Day” in Saratoga
Saratoga Springs – On Saturday, April 10th, from 3 to 5pm, beginner and intermediate level dancers are invited to learn authentic club style salsa from Johnny Martinez and Diane Lacthrupp, former featured dancers for ABC’s All My Children and co-founders of Tango Fusion Dance Company. Johnny and Diane teach throughout the United States and internationally, including South America and Europe, and reside in Saratoga Springs. The two-hour workshop is $25.00 for singles and $40.00 for couples. No partners or experience is necessary. The classes take place at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, 75 Woodlawn Avenue, Saratoga Springs NY. ‘Salsa in a Day’ is a fun opportunity to learn the elements of musicality, patterns and partnership in salsa and includes a warm-up, separate tracks for beginner and intermediate dancers, and a short practice session. This workshop is an opportunity for interested dancers to prepare for intermediate salsa class beginning at Tango Fusion’s dance studio at 42 White Street on Thursday, April 15th, at 7:00pm.Intermediate Salsa is a four-week course costing $60 per person or $105 per couple.
