LCROSS stands for the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite and is one of the latest NASA missions to study the moon! LCROSS’s main goal was to confirm whether or not there is water on the moon. We’ll take a closer look at this mission and its findings asking questions like where should we look for water, and why it would be important to us to find water on the moon. We’ll explore LCROSS in a dynamic manner by cooking up comets and testing out how craters were created on the moon. Ages 5+
Pre-registration is required. Free for CMOST members, $2.00for non-members plus admission to CMOST
