Siro's is the place to be after the track. It is packed and the people are ready to party! Within the last month I have been there four times. Three to enjoy the music and beverages and the fourth, most recent visit, was for dinner. The outside venue is not for the shy at heart. It is bumper to bumper people. The drinks are definitely not watered down, but you will pay for that as well. For the ladies, the outdoor area is not great for spike heels, especially the parking lot. I know this sounds silly, but for one who wears them all of the time, this can make for a long or a shortened stay. If you are determined to wear them as I am, go into the bar on the inside. There is music and a festive atmosphere there too. Dinner on Friday was delicious. I had the fish with fried banana and mango salsa. This was prepared to perfection. The other folks in my party had a similar reaction to the salmon and chicken entrees. The dinning room atmosphere is a bit more controlled and peaceful than the outside, but keep in mind winners are everywhere and are there to celebrate. It is nicely decorated with racing wall murals. The tables are close, which makes navigation difficult for the staff as well as the patrons attempting to use the bathrooms. Try to be seated somewhere other than the spot in front of the bathroom entrance. This really became a bother after the fourth person attempting to squeeze through instead of walking around the table section. Our waitress was top shelf! She should be given an award for maintaining her wonderful disposition in a sometimes chaotic environment. Besides being welcoming and very accommodating, she also was willing to offer advice on other places of excellence in the area when we inquired. Her advice was taken and we were very happy. On the overall, this is an excellent establishment one must try when visiting Saratoga. It is a classic! I hope to return soon!
