I went to Bloomers with 4 friends a couple weeks before they were seized this summer for failing to pay taxes. While it's been a while since I've been to the restraunt, I still remember my experience there like it was yesterday. First, we were put in the back room by ourselves. It took our waiter a while to get to us, and when he did, it was apparent that he was the only one in the entire restraunt waiting tables. We put in our drink order for beverages, which took them 15 minutes to get to us. It took him an equal amount of time to take our dinner order, and over an hour to get our food. You'd think that with such delays that the waiter would be apologetic; he was anything but. Multiple times he was openly rude to us, and made us felt like, since we were in the side room, that he had forgotten about serving us. I ordered the rack of lamb, which admittedly, was exquisite. It's obvious that they've got a fantastic chef there, but due to my experience with the horrendous service, I would never eat there again-- even if I was paid to.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy every visit to Bloomers. They did a great job on the renovations. The food is excellent as is the service. Always a nice wine selection, and the owners clue us in on what is new on the wine list to try. Hands down the best calamari anywhere, we are truly spoiled now.

Dont be put off by the neon sign out front this place serves upscale food at a great price. Good Staff......nice down to earth owners are always present. The chef is top notch!

We enjoyed the food and were eager to bring friends back at a later date. Everyone was impressed by the menu choices and we were all very happy with our meals. The server was excellent and went out of his way to make the experience memorable without being too present! The owner was appreciative of our business. You can't miss! The bar is great, too.
