In 1995 MaryAnn and Glenn moved from Brooklyn to Saratoga. They worked in local salons building a clientele base due to their experience, creativity, personality and their commitment towards education.
When they opened Brooklyn Attitude Hair & Body in Saratoga Springs (July 2003) they became the first innovative salon in the area. In 2004 MaryAnn was nominated for the prestigious Global Salon Business Award and Salon Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The award recognizes excellence in the industry, for salon entrepreneurs.
MaryAnn and Glenn are CHI Educators and have been trained by some of the top hairstylists in the world: Frederic Fekkai, Michael O'Rourke (Sexy Hair), Nick Arrojo (TLC "What not to wear), Martin Parson's, Oscar Bond, Yosh Toya, Mark Garrison and many others. They are the areas first and only Certified Media Artists (MAG) and Contributing Media Artists for the new Life Style Magazine "Salon City"
