The Shop and Gallery
Mimosa is a gallery of "art for home and wear," featuring contemporary fine craft. The jewelry, handbags, scarves, glass, ceramics, etc. are by local as well as nationally renowned artists. Come down to Beekman Street and discover the magic of Mimosa on its friendly corner. The selections change constanly so you never know what you are going to find there, but you can rest assured that it will be something unique to last.

Owners Michael and Michelle LaLonde have created handbags together for the last 21 years in their studio in Scotia NY. Needing to expand their studio space, they decided to find a location in Saratoga where they could craft their handbags as well as showcase work by artists they meet while doing art shows around the country. Their goal is to show that "art" can be functional and should be used in our everyday lives.

In 2007, owners Michelle and Michael LaLonde expanded the space, more than doubling the size of Mimosa, allowing space to showcase handmade furniture as well as fine art. Solo and group shows of fine art, sculpture and photography will feature established as well as emerging artists from around the country.

(From the City Center) Follow Broadway until you reach the stoplight at Congress Park. Take a right onto Congress St. Go straight through the light and take a left onto Beekman Street at the first stop sign. Mimosa is on the left side of the first block.
