Welcome to Caffe Lena, a drug and alcohol free venue, serving up great music since 1960. Caffè Lena is known internationally for acoustic music. One can hear the best in live folk, blues, traditional and jazz music, in our homey listening room, as well as storytelling, poetry and theater.
Caffè Lena is the nationally recognized music venue started by Lena Spencer in the 1960's. Lena was first to lend a stage to Bob Dylan on his first tour, where Arlo Guthrie found a home in the early years, where Don McLean first played American Pie.

Caffè Lena seats eighty in a relaxed, intimate, alcohol & smoke-free setting. Coffees, teas, iced drinks are served along with our finest dessert creations. Some performances may include a light supper.
The cafe is located on the second floor and is currently not handicapped accessible - though we can make some special arrangements. Caffè Lena is open for performances Wednesday through Sunday. The Caffè is also open for additional hours for Theater, Music Lessons and Workshops.
In 1989 Lena Spencer passed on and her Caffè became a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation run by a few paid staff, a dedicated Board of Directors, and many music-loving volunteers. It's up to us to continue the legacy. So help out a great cause and enjoy some wonderful music. Come down to Caffe Lena this weekend, and see what its all about.
