On the first weekend of September, Bobby Flay came to town to take on Hattie's and Jasper's recipe for fried chicken for an episode of Throwdown with Bobby Flay. According to an unbiased panel using unmarked dishes, the judges unanimously agreed that Jasper's was better! So come down to Hattie's and celebrate 68 years of history and the best fried chicken around!

Hattie's Restaurant is one of Saratoga's historic landmarks, specializing in Southern and Louisiana cuisine since 1938. Hattie's has always been known for its fried chicken & fresh biscuits; not wanting to change a formula that has worked for nearly 70 years, Chef Jasper has kept the menu the same and added a few specials such as chicken and dumplings, Jasper's now infamous macaroni & cheese along with daily fresh fish specials. In addition we have designed a wine list to include diverse and exciting wines to compliment our cuisine.

In the spring and summer months, come dine New Orleans-style in our magical covered courtyard or stop by our late-night bar for a mojito or one of our infamous specialty drinks. Our main dining room is open all year and has remained timeless in its charm.
