Storytime Saturdays begin this Saturday, September 8th from 1 pm – 1:30 pm. For the first installment of this popular program, the classic Beatrix Potter character comes to life at the Children’s Museum.! Peter Rabbit will be visiting the Museum and will engage children and their caregivers with classic stories about mischief and fun. Visitors are also invited to bring their camera’s because this is the perfect photo session!
In October the Museum will be visited by another classic – Raggedy Ann. Raggedy Ann will dance and play with visitors of all ages on Saturday, October 13th from 1 pm – 1:30 pm. In November the Museum will be visited by one of our favorite characters. He’s lovable, he’s red, and he’s BIG! It’s Clifford, the big red dog! Clifford will be venturing into the Museum on Saturday, November 10th from 1 pm – 1:30 pm. Storytime Saturdays are free with Museum admission and are brought to the Museum by Barnes and Noble at Exit 15 in Wilton. For more information please contact the Children’s Museum at 584-5540. Interactive exhibits, special events and workshops are designed to encourage children to learn by making discoveries for themselves.
