Saratoga Springs Lions Club Health Fair Print E-mail

The Saratoga Springs Lions Club will be sponsoring their 2nd Annual Alfred Z. Solomon Health Fair on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the Maple Avenue Middle School on Maple Avenue in Saratoga Springs. The event is free to the public and will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature over 40 exhibitors, including free vision screenings, hearing screenings, diabetes information, a Red Cross blood drive on-site, door prizes and giveaways. Highlights include a Flu Shot Clinic conducted by the medical staff from Urgent Care of Clifton Park, an American Red Cross Blood Drive on-site, vision screenings conducted by the Albany Lions Eye Institute, health screenings by Saratoga Hospital, hearing screenings by Saratoga Hearing, Operation Safe Child registrations by the Saratoga Springs Police Department, and a Fun Obstacle Course by FIT KIDS of Saratoga County Coalition. All of these screenings and tests are free to attendees.
