 Sloppy Kisses, the area’s premiere dog bakery and designer pet boutique, and the Inn at Saratoga, the oldest operating hotel in Saratoga, are partnering this summer to host “Yappy Hour”. This will be the second year of this wildly popular community event.
On the last Thursday of each month from 5 – 8 pm (beginning 5/29), dog owners and their canine kids are welcome to mingle and sniff out new friends in the courtyard of The Inn at Saratoga (231 Broadway) while enjoying a wide array of summer cocktails, mouthwatering appetizers and gourmet doggie delectables. As a whole, dog owners are a social bunch,” commented Melanie Dallas, the owner of Sloppy Kisses. “This is an opportunity for us who just adore dogs to get together, socialize with our peers while sipping cocktails, enjoying great food while treating our canine companions to a night out on the town.” Dallas also hinted that there are some special events in the works for later this summer including a doggie fashion show and canine costume contest.
Admission is $9.00 per person (dogs are free). Admission includes a hot and cold hors d’oeuvre buffet. Gourmet dog treats by Sloppy Kisses will be available for sale during each Yappy Hour. Event dates are 5/29, 6/26, 7/31, 8/28 and 9/25. The event is rain or shine.
