Saratoga Springs Victorian Streetwalk Print E-mail

ImageThe 22nd Annual Victorian Streetwalk is being held on December 4th from 6:00 - 10:00 PM.

Come join thousands of people at over 40 sites with entertainment, including strolling and non-strolling musicians, carolers, face painters, Santa and Mrs. Claus in the Santa cottage, live reindeer, performances on harp, hammered dulcimer, saxophone solos, Irish whistles, Christmas carols, gospel and more.

As always the Victorian Streetwalk is free and open to the public. Brought to you by:
the Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association.

The original idea was to invite the folks who support downtown all year long to Saratoga Springs for a fun, free celebration on the first Thursday after Thanksgiving, a concept that has remained until today. It was a huge unertaking and helped Saratoga Springs win several State and National awards for excellence.

The first year about 500 people came; today the number is over 21,000 and it has become the biggest and best event of the year sponsored and planned by the Downtown Business Association. The children who are 21 years old and younger have grown up with this festival as a tradition in their families.

The event had record attendance last year as Broadway was closed to vehicle traffic. Estimates put the crowd at over 21,000 people of all ages.
