Here at Uncommon Grounds, we are thankful for our local community. Our customers are what make up our unique environment. We are pleased to announce our new Beans for Charity initiative that is coinciding with the launch of our brand new website. Each month, we'll be selecting a new coffee to feature and a charity to benefit. The charity will receive $1 from the sale of each one pound bag of the named variety of coffee.
For our first month, we chose the local charity TEAM BILLY, a charity that benefits research for brain cancer. For over five years, Team Billy has been organizing the "Ride & Walk for Research" which occurs in Saratoga Springs. This past year's event raised over $50,000 and we are proud to help continue the search for the cure for a disease that affects many people. Each bag of House Blend (and House Blend Decaf!) sold will put $1 towards Team Billy's efforts to find a cure for brain cancer.
