Summer Dance Classes Begin at the Museum

Saratoga Springs- The National Museum of Dance School of the Arts is offering evening summer dance classes for beginner to advanced level dancers who are seven years of age and older, including adults. The summer session runs from June 28th through August 26th and includes a special four-week session of classes (hip hop, jazz or ballet) for children starting at 7 years of age (July 18th - August 18th). Other dance styles offered throughout the summer are: jazz, modern dance, ballet, belly dancing, and zumba. A complete schedule and registration information are posted on the school’s website at www.dancemuseum.org/school . Participants can pay for a whole session or drop-in classes. First time dancers are encouraged to sign up and/or stop in to observe a class. The School of the Arts class instructors are caring dance teachers with professional dance experience who share their joy of teaching. Dancers of all shapes, sizes and ages are encouraged to participate in the programs.

The School of the Arts is a not –for- profit organization with a focus on teaching professional quality dance technique within a low-pressure environment. Under the auspices of SPAC, and an extension of The National Museum of Dance, the SOA mission is to foster the study and appreciation of dance.
