SPAC’S POPULAR RESTAURANT DISCOUNT FOR MEMBERS EXPANDS
TO INCLUDE OVERNIGHT ACCOMODATIONS AT INNS AND RESORTS
Saratoga Springs, NY (February 10, 2010) – Saratoga Performing Arts Center has announced that its popular restaurant discount for members will grow to include discounts on overnight accommodations and dining at several resorts around the region. Resorts participating in the promotion include the Gideon Putnam Spa Resort, 74 State in Albany, High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid, Mountain Top Inn & Resort in Vermont and the Reluctant Panther Inn & Restaurant in Vermont.
"We are thrilled to be able to extend a big ‘thank you’ to our members by offering them the opportunity to enjoy a resort getaway at a reduced rate. Although a SPAC membership has always been an incredible value, the ability to use your SPAC membership card to save ten percent on overnight accommodations as well as restaurant dining truly takes the card to a new level. It's another great way for our members to get closer to the arts," said Marcia J. White, SPAC President & Executive Director.
SPAC will also continue to partner with participating area restaurants, enabling SPAC members to receive 10 percent off the food portion of their lunch or dinner check, upon presentation of their membership cards. Members can benefit from the resort or restaurant discount until the end of SPAC's season on October 31, 2010.
SPAC memberships are available at a variety of price and benefit levels, from a $25 Student level up to a $1,350 Patron level or higher. Depending on the membership tier, benefits can include priority ticket purchasing, discounts, preferred parking, rehearsal access, and complimentary refreshments. SPAC's 2010 membership campaign was launched in November of 2009 and will continue through the conclusion of SPAC's 2010 season. Membership details and purchases are available on SPAC's website: www.spac.org/members.cfm
“High Peaks Resort is excited about supporting SPAC and its important role in our community. Art enriches our quality of life tremendously. I applaud this membership program which will make it a little easier for people to dine out, experience world-class performances and get away for the weekend. High Peaks Resort is proud to support SPAC and all it contributes to the community,” said John Dodson, General Manager.
“SPAC memberships are a great value and a great way to support the arts. The restaurant and resort discount is just one more reason why people should become SPAC members,” he concluded.
