Valentines Day Hotels in Saratoga

Check out the special romance package deals at Longfellows Inn on Union Avenue  and the Mansion Inn Bed & Breakfast on Rte 29.  The Springwater B&B recently opened and offers modern luxury accommodations adjacent to their Union Avenue restaurant of the same name.   They also offer dine and stay packages but you need to book early.    If you are more interested in national chains The Marriott Residence Inn is located near exit 15 and offers shuttle service to downtown Saratoga Springs.   The Courtyard by Marriott is closer to downtown and a short walk from the Olde Bryan Inn one of Saratoga’s coolest taverns set in an early1800’s stone and wood beam structure complete with a giant wood burning fireplace in the bar.  The Hilton Garden Inn is on South Broadway a short walk from the festivities on Caroline Street, and downtown Saratoga Springs.  

Saratoga Springs Romantic Restaurants

Its hard to cover all the romantic places in Saratoga in one place but here are a few of our recommendations.   On Valentines Day, you will need to book early as these are some of the capital districts most poplular and best restaurants. 

First on the list is One Caroline Street an awesome little bistro just off Broadway.  This is the perfect place for a music lover as they have terrific live music most nights.   The tables are a little snug which makes this a great date plae but maybe not the place to pop the question.  

Mouzon House is owned by the same people and offers a very intimate settings as the restaurant is a converted Victorian home.   There are several small dining rooms many of them only able to fit a few people.   

The Grey Gelding serves up an imaginative menu by crafting local ingredients into a mix of Cajun, Tuscan and California cuisines.  They have extensive wines by the glass to pair with any meal.  Live music every Friday through Sunday and a great happy hour is the icing on the cake that makes The Grey Gelding one of our favorites. 

The Wine Bar on Broadway is on everyone's list as a romantic place for night cap or to start the evening but its also got a great dinner menu.  This one should make the short list for Valentines Day. 

The Wishing Well has been a perenial favorite of Saratogians for decades.    Roaring fires in the winter and and intimate dining rooms make this feel like a getaway even for the the locals.  The Wishing Well should be on your consideration list for every occasion and Valentines Day in particular. 

New to Saratoga this year is the Pacific Grill.  Located on Putnam Street in the former Doc’s Steakhouse location, The Pacific Grill serves the Chinese, Japanese, Sushi and Thai food in an upscale setting. 

Last but not least on our list is Longfellows Restaurant on Union Avenue about 2 miles from Downtown Saratoga.   Another fantastic Inn, Longfellows boasts one of the biggest fireplaces in Saratoga and the fire is always roaring on cold winter nights.    There are several smaller dining rooms and great bar which makes Longfellows good for any occasion in the courting process—first date, Valentines Day, engagement, rehearsal dinner, wedding or anniversary.
