Saratoga Springs showed its full patriotic colors on flag day again this year.
As flags and a welcoming crowd lined Broadway, an hour and a half long procession of Saratogian's marched down the street.
The parade included all manor of civic groups and dignitaries including Mayor Scott Johnson, County Supervisors Matt Veitch and Joanne Yepsen, State Legislators Roy McDonald and Jim Tedisco. Marching bands from Corinth and Ballston Spa, boy scout and girl scout troops, the Saratoga Springs Pop Warner football league and of course the Saratoga Lions with their clowns.
The Spa City Barbershop Quartet sang "America the Beautiful" Model T and Corvette car owners each had a hand as did the Harley Davidson club.
The weather was once again beautiful for Saratoga's Summer Inaugural event.
